We didn’t just tweak it; we reinforced the whole internal structure so you can stop worrying about constant downtime. Heat that actually works The Sidel SBO 4/6 is picky. You need the PET preforms to soften just right—too little heat and they won’t blow, too much and they deform. Our lamps hit that sweet spot with high wattage for fast heat-up times. The secret is the high-purity quartz envelope. It handles those wild temperature swings without cracking when the lamp cycles on and off. Plus, it’s a direct swap. It fits the original footprint perfectly, so you don’t have to mess around with your wiring or holders. Just pop it in and go. Built for the shake Most lamps fail at the pinch seal or the electrodes. Why? Because blow molding machines vibrate. A lot. We beefed up the bond between the electrode and the filament to handle that mechanical stress. A few tips for the shop floor Here’s the thing: these lamps push a lot of heat. If your cooling fans are clogged with dust or debris, the end caps will overheat and the lamp will burn out—no matter how reinforced the quartz is. Keep those fans clean. And please, make sure your OEM connectors are tight. A loose connection causes an arc, and an arc will fry your lamp in seconds.
