Let’s be honest: replacing heating lamps in PET blow molding machines is usually a headache. You’re dealing with tight spaces, weird electrical footprints, and the constant fear that the new part won’t actually fit. We wanted to fix that. Whether you’re running an old-school SBO system or a brand new Matrix series, we built our replacements to just… work. No modifications. No “making it fit.” You just put them in and get back to work. The tricky part: Heat and Voltage Here’s the thing about Sipa machines—they’re picky. If your wattage-per-centimeter is off, you’re either going to under-heat the preform or, worse, burn the plastic. We match the original OEM voltage and wattage exactly. Why? Because if the resistance is wrong, you’re looking at fried controllers or uneven heat that ruins your bottles. Now, these high-wattage tubes bring the heat, but do yourself a favor: check your cooling fans. If they’re clogged, your oven housing is going to bake, and nobody wants that. Built to last (and actually fit) We use high-purity quartz glass because these lamps take a beating with constant rapid cycling. Depending on your model, we’ve got the R7s or Sk15 connectors ready to go. We spent a lot of time obsessing over the physical dimensions—the exact length and the spacing of the end-caps. It means you won’t be bending brackets or messing with the wiring harness just to get a lamp to seat properly. It just slides right in. What this means for your bottles If the spectral output doesn’t match the original, you get “cold spots.” It’s frustrating and wastes material. We’ve calibrated the infrared emission so it penetrates the preform wall consistently every single time. One quick tip, though: these lamps are tough, but they can’t fight a bad power grid. If your voltage is spiking, those filaments will burn out way faster than they should. Before you swap out an entire bank of lamps, take a second to check your regulators.
