At the heart of it is a 300mm tube that packs a serious punch: 2500W of power, all running on a 400V circuit. Here’s the neat part: that higher voltage means it pulls less amperage for the same wattage. So your wiring stays simpler, and you don’t have to worry about voltage dropping off over distance like you might with a 230V unit. It’s short, too—just 300mm long—so it slips into tight corners. Think narrow heating channels or a machine that needs a focused hot spot. You get a huge amount of heat in a tiny package, without having to redesign the whole setup. The tube itself is a quartz envelope with a halogen element inside. Why? Because it heats up fast and keeps the output steady. The halogen cycle does a clever thing: it keeps the filament clean. That means the performance stays consistent over the lamp’s life, and it won’t burn out on you just because you’re turning it on and off a lot. Then there’s the R7s connector—a simple, two-pin setup.
