On the floor, every minute your Sidel, Krones, or Husky blow molder is down is money you can’t get back. When the heating module goes south, you don’t need guesswork—you need a part that drops in and respects the machine’s original thermal profile and mounting geometry. We build our PETC blow molding heating module as a true 1:1 replacement, spec’d to match the OEM. What matters, technically We spec short-wave infrared halogen emitters in quartz tubes, sized to the OEM envelope. Typical ratings are 2000–2400 W per emitter, in 230 V or 400 V configurations, with standard R7s connectors. Dimensions and lamp lengths match the original tunnel layout, so you can drop the assembly in without tweaking brackets or re-routing wiring. Output is tuned for fast, even preform heating, keeping the heat profile tight across the heating tunnel. Why it holds up in real production Because the parameters line up with Sidel, Krones, SIPA, Husky, SACMI, and Nissei ASB machines, you keep the original heating window. No retuning the whole oven. No scrap from off-spec heating. That means stable cycle times, consistent bottle quality, and fewer unplanned stops. The module also helps with energy control: infrared heats on demand, and the focused beam cuts wasted heat in the tunnel. In practice, we see lamps holding output for 5,000+ hours with low lumen decay, which pushes maintenance intervals out. Things to keep in mind Installation is straightforward. Match connector type, voltage, and lamp orientation to the existing socket, then set the focus distance to the preform surface per the machine manual. One constraint that always bites people: keep the quartz tube and reflector clean. Dust and bottle residue scatter heat and drift the profile. Also, confirm your line voltage is stable—voltage swings shorten halogen life. If your machine is running older medium-wave elements, check the power density and cycle time impact before switching, or run a short validation lot to confirm quality and cycle targets.
